Critiquing Film, Television, and More

Quickie: Gattaca (1997)

Gattaca is one of those late 90s, science fiction, dystopian movies that instigates imperatively pronounced tenors about the future of technology and human identity but, is ringed by corny dialogue and wooden performances by sexy, all-star actors and actresses who will subsequently become fitter performers once the 2000s arises.

I swear y’all, this was an actual genre that big-boy, well-dressed Hollywood producers often discussed about in their briefing rooms during the 90s.

Verdict: C+

“Gattaca” is now available to rent and buy on Crackle, Vudu, YouTube, iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon Prime.
