Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: A homecoming to the qualities that made Raiders of the Lost Ark such a treasure mingled with a fresh, new surprise. The introduction of the complicated yet, hardy relationship—that of Indy and his father, Henry—makes this continuation rich in value. It makes for not only the funniest Indiana Jones film to date but also, the most emotive Indiana Jones film to date.
The tales brought up in this entry of the Holy Grail are tempting and director Steven Spielberg pulls it off augustly through some pleasingly aspired action extravaganzas predominantly in its finale (which is the second-best thing in the whole entire world). Maybe the secret formula to a top-notch Indiana Jones movie really is Nazis and Jesus.
Verdict: A-
And you guessed it! Sean Connery is the real MVP in this movie.
Let us not forget that Indy and his father slept with the same woman who also happened to be 22 years old. Awkwarddd…
