Tarantino Marathon Part I of IX
Quentin Tarantino’s Reservoir Dogs: Hard evidence that the script is the heart of every film. The direction, cinematography, editing, production design, compositions, and visual effects can all be just “sufficient,” but if that heart of the film is as engaging as Hades’ crib, as animated as a Stealers Wheel song, and of A-class supremacy, you rarely will need any of those other factors to be anything of the extraordinary.
Well, besides maybe some mesmerizing acting of course. Okay, and maybe also some really, really imposing Tarantino-styled directing. You get my point though, right?
Verdict: A-
Nice Guy Eddie Cabot is literally Jonah Hill.
