Moneyball sees director Bennett Miller making baseball games feel as intense as a high-caliber thriller and writers Aaron Sorkin and Steven Zaillian making the act of solving and studying statistics appear like the raddest activity on the planet. These are difficult things to accomplish if you couldn’t already tell.
