The international baby race competition or Sofia Coppola’s safari of a piece, Marie Antoinette, is an unannounced, tongue-in-cheek comedy that, with acceleration, re-gears its tones to an apprehension packed frenzy that jolts the audience with such a nefarious jab by the end of its runtime. Sofia Coppola speaks justice to an infamous queen who was, in many cases, an erroneously hated figure in history.
Verdict: B+
