Wes Craven’s 90s, horror classic Scream, isn’t quite as profound as I had remembered it to be nearly half a decade ago when I first viewed it, but it’s still a wildly zealous, slash & dash, gore-a-thon carousel that inventively calls out the common clichés and tropes of the beloved slasher genre.
Verdict: B
The opening of Scream > 90% of all horror movies in existence.
“Scream” is now available to rent and buy on Amazon Prime, YouTube, iTunes, Google Play, Vudu, and Netflix.
