I feel like Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown was a safe introduction into Pedro Almodóvar’s filmography for me. It’s nothing too artistically antithetical, so it was fairly easy for me to sink my teeth directly into its presentation. Be that as it may, its plot kept on getting more insane, and more insane, and more insane by the minute, and it was sickeningly pleasurable to watch unfold.
