The fact that Resident Evil: Retribution came delivered in a package decorated in a sizably violent nature, fluttered with “nostalgia-bombs,” and void of a legitimate narrative was simultaneously devastating yet tempting to register. It’s obvious as hell that the writers here have officially run out of all their indigenous ideas, but the jumbled mess of Retribution ironically made the final product a lot less proverbial than its last predecessor.
Conclusively, as a “movie movie” it’s the very definition of disgraceful. However, as a “Resident Evil movie” it’s…different? Special? Question mark? Question Mark? Question mark?
