Badlands is a strangely wholesome introduction into Terrence Malick’s career. I’ve seen about a billion clips and snippets from all his films on YouTube over the past couple years and I stoutly decided to finally watch one of his features for the first time. No regrets. N-o r-e-g-r-e-t-s-!
