Quick-Thoughts: Tremors (2019)

Tremors: An exemplar in the idea that certainty will always blind people from rationality. FACTS. 

Jayro Bustamante‘s third indie motion picture is a well directed, well acted, well written, and well shot drama, but a little too superficial in its grand scope. However, it’s such a crucially important film for Guatemala City’s Evangelical Christian community—a place that condemns homosexuality under strict religious laws—as it is a piece that will hopefully allow citizens to ponder over their fixed beliefs.

Verdict: B-

2019 Ranked

“Tremors” will be released in select theaters on November 29, 2019.
