So, yes, I finally finished Twilight (in its entirety) after all these years and I’m just a little… speechless?
This cult phenomenon surprisingly reminds me of if a bunch of college art students made a strictly YOLO movie for fun. So it’s pretty amateur in almost every conceivable approach, besides say that 37-million-dollar budget and extraterrestrial franchise success but in a non-obnoxious way? Like, remember back in high school when you’d have to watch your friends or classmates’ goofy video projects in front of the whole class; it was always a blast of laughter to see us attempt to bring a voice to the cinematic scene with mere knowledge of what makes media arts work adequately. Watching Twilight is kind of like that, but, it goes on for two whole hours…
Also… umm… 15 Step by Radiohead?
