Almost as riveting as when my tweet about Suspiria blew up because heaps of Dakota Johnson fanpages retweeted my post. 👌🏼👌🏽
It’s official though. Luca Guadagnino’s Suspiria is a M-A-S-T-E-R-P-I-E-C-E. Rewatching it, the story is genuinely a lot more straightforward and cohesive than it had seemed when I had first devoured it. Everything makes sense now. Not so pretentious after all, haha. All the minor nitpicks I withheld previous from my initial viewing have suddenly vanished into nihility. Magic.
Verdict Change: (A —> A+)
61% my a** Rotten Tomatoes. It’s time to toughen up millennials. Expand your mindsets ladies and gentleman. No, I’m not triggered. Okay, maybe slightly.
